A few pictures and a short summary of a battle in the beginning of June is now finally here.

The scenario is surrounded and the American armored company is leading the charge.

Before the battle begins, the Stugs are placed in immediate ambush, ready to fight on both flanks if needed be.

Turn 1
The US takes first turn and moves up on both flanks. Shooting fail to kill anything.

German return fire from Pak 43:s destroys a single Sherman. Most other units are out of sight. The infantry in the town keeps gone to ground to lock out the other US flank from reinforcing.

Turn 2
The US close in on the objective at the field, pulling out a lot of machine gunfire result.

The Germans fare better destroying 3 Sherman, 2 half tracks killing 4 transported infantry teams as a result.

Turn 3
One fatal dice roll will dictate the remaining game - the unpinning of the armored rifle. It's a pass and the game is still on! The AA trucks proves insanely effective, destroying both Pak43 guns on the move. A lucky shot from a Sherman destroy one of the Stugs. Pushing into the line of the defending Germans, the AR now contest the objective.

The Germans now reinforce the objective by moving the platoon of pioneers from the center. The Stugs destroys another two Shermans, but a last one remain in place. The Infantry in the town finds a good chance to use their panzerfausts against the lone Sherman 2iC driving down the street. With a well placed shot he is destroyed.

Turn 4
Digging for what they're worth, the AR now finds them self in the centre of the action. They call for reinforcements from the other flank to deal with the German armor. With a few well placed shots the M10 destroys the last two Stugs.

Things looks worse for the Germans. All aviable infantry now move towards the objective in the field. The 8.8 AA guns fire at the Infantry but fail to kill any team. The German infantry tries to assault the AR, but gets pinned down in the attempt, barley contesting the objective.

Turn 5
Dug in and still holding the ground the US infantry goes to ground. The tanks on the far side moves to slightly better positions, still not being able to move through the town where the German infantry is garrisoned.

Further attempts to soften up the infantry at the objective is made, and finally a infantry team is killed. A Panzerschrek tries to knock one of the M10s out, but fail to hit the tank. The infantry are forced to take a test and fail, thus fleeing the battle. But with two the M10 and a Sherman still holding the objective, and a failed tank terror test, the victory is still far away.

Turn 6
Contesting the objective, the US sees the chance to kill a 4th platoon and secure the victory. Manning the .50 cal of the M10s and with some aid from the AA trucks another three teams from the reinforcing German platoon is killed - Forcing a morale check. The German platoon fails their tests and flees the battle.

With nothing in range of the objective, the Germans cannot retake the objective and prevent the US from scoring a victory next turn.

The US claims the objective and scores a 5-2 victory!
