Warhammer 40k - (v8) - Big guns never tire


Death Corps of Kreig vs Chaos Iron warriors/Deamons - 1250 pts


The imperium wins the roll-off for stating the battle, but Chaos seize the initiative.


While Chaos advance, the guards hold the line.


The Guard fire line opens up and kills a lot, destroying a squad of bloodletters turn 1.


Obliterators close in on the quad guns.


Very high Charge rolls give the chaos a fighting chance in combat!
  

Two lascannon hits is nothing for a Sorcerer, saving them both on sixes.
  

The Guard commander show how a Sorcerer can be killed in close combat, when lascannons fail to kill. 


The game ends at turn 5 with an imperial victory. A damaged basilisk kills the cultist holding the second Chaos objective preventing a Chaos victory. If the chaos Gods would have offered another turn, the Imperium would probably have been beaten. A very even game!

Flames of war - TY - Dust up

Our first ever Team Yankee battle is a West German Aufklarung kompanie vs a Soviet T-62 armored Battalion. The battle is a Dust up and the Soviets starts the battle. The forces are at 50pts and Both sides have three platoons in reserve and on the table.


Turn 1
The Soviet starts off by moving ahead and destroying a Luch, later causing the other one to flee.
In return the Germans open up and destroy four t-62s.




Turn 2
The Soviets Push forward unleashing the infantry. The  remaining Two tanks aim towars the leos but misses. The RPG team hoever, hits one and bail it.

The two operational Leo 1 regroup out in the field and with combined fire from Leo 2:s they destroy the remaining two t-62:s



 Turn 3
A new Soviet tankovy company arrives and head towards the village objective. The infantry hits and destroy the other two Leo 1:s with rockets and then assault the bailed out Leo to capture it.

In return the German Leo2:s and commander destroy the observer tank and a infantry team.




Turn 4
The remaining Soviet reinforcements, scout cars and SAM-cars arrive and doubles for the village objective.

German Geopard-AA arrive and double up to hide behind the forest to threaten the flank. Then, the Leo2:s destroy two T-62:s in the village.



Turn 5
The Soviets is putting pressure on the objective and also destroy the German command tank with a well placed shot from a t-62. The commander manage to flee to a nearby Leo2. 

In return the German commander barley makes a necessary blitz to reach and contest the objective preventing a immediate Soviet victory. The remaining Leo2 destroy two T-62:s causing the last one to flee.



Turn 6 
The soviet commander takes aim at the German commander... but misses. The German commander returns the favor and destroy the Soviet command tank, causing the remaining soviet infantry to flee.

A minor West German Victory, for now preventing the Soviet offensive into Europe.

The German side starts the battle.

The KV1-s turns up with scattered reserves right in front of the Marders, destroying one Panzer III before being reduced tio scrap the next turn.

The reduced Panzer II platoon at the soviet objective remounts and pass their morale, thus claiming the objective. Otherwise the Germans would have fleed the battle, giving the victory to the Soviets. A quite even game I must say!

BunkerHive Necromunda

Necromunda has arrived to the bunker! And four four different fights where played out between eight gangs eager to win the reputation of being the most cruel and viscous masters of the underhive.

So my first ever game of Necromunda was insanely bloody. It was Genestealer Cult "Generation Primus Miners" against the Goliaths. The leader and the champions where all taken out of action and the fact that the Goliaths bottled (fled) before my weak cultist had the time to flee was the only winning factor.

Blood bowl Finale

Bunker Bowl season 4 has come to an end

It's Finale. It's Xraz Wars vs  Zufbars Stonehearts, dwarf against half dwarf. Organized against chaotic.  The dwarfs score a TD and the death roller stays on the pitch thanks to sneaky bribe handed to the referee. After full time both teams has scored a TD on the opponent. Xraz Wars is getting more and ore battered and taking the majority of causalities. Phuur Tallhat is killed, but the apothecary patches him up to continue the game.


It goes to overtime and there is a roll-off to see who starts with the ball. It's maximum eight turns, after that penalties will decide (a random roll). Zufbars get to receive the ball in overtime and proceed with a safe dwarf cage towards the chaos end zone. Huuf Longhat attempts a blitz witch force the ball carrier to drop the ball into the crowd. The crowd throws the ball towards the dwarf end-zone and suddenly Phuur Tallhat runs for the ball. On the sixth attempt (dice roll) to pick up the ball he finally manage and score a 2-1 victory for Xraz Wars.


Score 2-1 but a hard 1-5 in casualities, Xraz Wars becomes the winners of season 4, Bunker Bowl and receive the glittering price of a golden and spiky trophy!

The Cult is Rising

The cult is slowly emerging from the grey shadows. Necromunda is arriving to our little town. So must the Hive fleet vanguard also. So far only Acolyte and Neophyte hybrids, but in a close future they might get reinforced.
